The Refund: a Saga in 7 Parts

Prologue

I just had an amazingly painful experience with AT&T wireless. I used to be on their prepaid plan and switched to a post-paid (contract) plan back in July. But in addition to sending me bills for the postpaid plan, they've continued to bill my credit card for the prepaid plan. Thus begins my saga.

iPhone: Consequences of not Updating

Your rating: None

My phone has been dead for two days.  At first I thought the cellular networks were jammed with people freaking out, but it turns out that my iPhone was deactivated because I had not updated it via iTunes.  I shudder to think about what could have happened if I were on vacation without a computer to synch the phone up with iTunes.  Again ... IBM Lotus iNotes for iPhone

Your rating: None

Let me be clear, I do not like Notes as an Email client. Give me Exchange, Outlook, Web Outlook and ActiveSync and I'm a happy bunny. I'm sure some readers (Mr. Coombs I'm looking in you direction) will be just giddy to hear that on Tuesday IBM are going to be offically launching the iNotes Ultralite site, which provides an iPhone Safari friendly web application for accessing Lotus Notes via an installation of Domino Web Access 8.0.2 on the server. I can almost hear the "Huzzahs" from here :P
