The Business Card... Is it dead?
Seemingly taking the lead from the world of advertising, TechCrunch reports that the end of the business card may be on the horizon.
The business card needs to die, and everyone knows it. They’re clumsy, easy to lose, and virtually useless as one of the last bits of information that we pass non-digitally (they kill trees, too). The cell phone market could easily put business cards out of their misery, but instead of conforming to a single standard for contact exchange, handset manufacturers offer proprietary solutions or none at all.

Apple Confims Fix For iPhone Security Issue Coming In September
Clearly wanting to not sink to the level of unerliablity that Microsoft products have avoid another PR crisis, Apple has announced that a fix is coming this September for that security issue that I reported about yesterday:
“The minor iPhone security issue which surfaced this week is fixed in a software update which will be released in September,” Apple representative, Jennifer Bowcock, said in an email to Macworld.
A Free Level (Marketwall.com)
Cost as reviewed: FREE
This is another really simple app that could come in handy. Apparently the majority of the code for this app was included in the iPhone SDK. This app uses the iPhone accelerometer to calculate the angle at which the phone is being tilted and it shows an air bubble in liquid moving according to the angle, similar to a carpenter's level that most of us are familiar with.
In addition to the level, it also has inches and centimeters along the sides. I wouldn't use this for super accurate measurements, but it could be nice if you need a quick estimate.
Using the iPhone, unstable.
I haven't really been able to reap the benefits of 2.0 (2.0.2 rather) because (for reasons I have yet to identify) my iPhone (not an iPhone 3G, no GPS) kept crashing, almost immediately-after removing it from it's dock!
When a premier phone is reduced to waiting through one-hour backups and syncs, simply to "Restore" from an older (hopefully more stable) backup... instead of getting totally stressed-out and upset, I try to be glad that I didn't wait in a ridiculously long line to get the iPhone 3G.
Google Public Transit on iPhone
So there's not yet an option to take public transit on the iPhone's google maps interface. What's more, if you try to go to maps.google.com with mobile safari, it will kick you back into the native iPhone app. Damn... no public transit routing.

Apple iPhone passcode flaw
Apple isn't thinking much of the fact that they managed to put an easily avoided flaw in the iPhone's passcode lock bypass. They called it a " minor iPhone security issue". Apple claims to come out with a fixed update in September. This bug has already been fixed before in the 1.1.4 software update but it failed to stay fixed as new updates rolled out.
