iPhone Business or Toy

Your rating: None

So the question is the iPhone a good business tool of a toy?

Most top executives have used the Blackberry for a long time now bug some see the iPhone as a toy. Now I use mine for work and personal.

Having the Exchange push technology let's me keep up with email. I like to be able to use other functions for work to, the currency converter is handy for example. Viewing attachments such as Excel, Word, PDF and even Powerpoint. As I mentioned in my earlier post I switched from a Windows Mobile phone. I think there is a perception that the iphone is a toy but that would be incorrect.

iPhone 3G vs. BlackBerry Pearl OS 4.5

Your rating: None

I have been using a BlackBerry Pearl 8100 avidly for about 15 months and I love it. It's small, good battery life, acceptable screen, very good SureType predictive input system (light years ahead than T9) and of course the fantastic email management experience that is the strongest point of any BB. What impresses most are the small and many classy and time refined touches you bump in every now and then with regular use. Automatic '@' instead of space when typing email addresses; the '.' when typing double space or when in an email address and '@' has been already typed; a system message that as you switch the phone off tells you if and when it will automatically turn on next time.
