It's seemed to me that developing specialized business applications for hand-held platforms was a losing game.  The hardware's got plenty of power, but not enough physical size for a decent UI for a complex application.  The platforms are always changing, and your code has to keep changing as a result.  And there's never been a single platform universal enough to cover our prospective user base, so we'd have to support a lot of incompatible devices.  We're doing that now, but only for very limited kinds of functionality.

Wow, wie lange hab ich eigentlich nicht gebloggt? Wenn man sich die Meldungen der letzten Tage ansieht, könnte man denken, ich war ein halbes Jahr auf einer einsamen Insel.

それにしても、SDKを使うときに同意させられる文章を見直すと、ちとマズい事になるんじゃないかって気もしますが.............

Conforme eu tinha prometido, aqui está um pequeno vídeo do iPhone 3G. Desculpem o foco, eu estou gravando com o N95 e ele não é muito legal para vídeos de objetos próximos. Quando coloquei no YouTube ficou ainda pior, mas acho que dá para ter uma idéia. Quem tiver alguma dúvida adicional é só mandar. 

Como ainda não tem nenhuma forma simples de desbloqueio o uso no Brasil ainda é limitado. O pessoal do iPhone Dev Team está prometendo uma solução para breve. Estou acompanhando o Blog deles e assim que eu souber de algo coloco aqui.

1. The iPhone is amazing.  It should not be called the iPhone.  It should be called the iEverything.  If you come visit me, I will let you play with it and show you all the amazing things that it does.  It will knock your socks off. 

b. The lovely Amy and I went to Pete's wedding yesterday.  We left at 10:45am and got back 12 hours later spending most of that time driving.  But, we got to see the Liberty Bell (which is famous even though no one knows why), Amy got a Philly cheese steak and we watched Pete marry Melissa.  It's possible I even teared up a few times during the ceremony.

Which one do you think is the better cell phone: the iPhone 3g or the Sidekick 2008?

I'm debating this a lot right now. I have been reading all over the internet to figure out which phone is better. I guess they both have advantages and disadvantages, but I need to make a decision.  Here is a little bit that I found comparing the 2 phones:

According to iPhone Atlas, Apple are readying a system for blacklisting applications on the iPhone.

If true, Apple has setup a system where, through the 2.0 software, iPhone will call home (to Apple) through a specialised call-back URL. The URL is enlisted deep within the iPhone 2.0 firmware, and looks like this:
